Golden Globes in Lexie's Mind

The 82nd Golden Globe Awards took place yesterday and boy was it a glamorous night...

Timothee, Zendaya, and THE Angelina Jolie
Timothee, Zendaya, and THE Angelina Jolie

Let's dive into Lexie's mind; On it, the best well-dressed celebrity is Zendaya. And the worst one...well, there is none. I liked everybody's gowns and looks. Ariana Grande looked chic as always, but let's talk about how her appearance. She looks unhealthy, and that is a fact. I know, I know you can come at all you want and send me her video of how she's saying that she's feeling her best etcetera etcetera, but it is what it is. Whether she's feeling happy or not, she looks the worst she's ever looked. It just doesn't look good on her and I'm not gonna take my words back. Her Positions and Sweetener eras were the best ones yet. But obviously, I'm not gonna go and shit on her Wicked era because she truly deserves the recognition she's getting. I haven't watched The Wicked yet, but from the scenes that I saw on X, she's done an outstanding performance. Ok, enough of Ariana, let's go back to the Globe..

Can we talk about Zendaya and her dress AND HER ENGAGEMENT RING? Was it a surprise? Yes. Was it unexpected? Definitely not. She and Tom are the best and honestly, the more private the relationship is, the better. So, I'm happy for them and can't wait to see their wedding.

I loved Demi Moore's dress. Honestly, I'm so thankful for Coralie Fargeat because Demi Moore is Demi Moore-ing again and I'm so here for it. And have you guys seen the video of her talking to Elle Fanning and completely ignoring Kylie while she was sitting right next to her?? I died watching that video. Honestly, I really don't get why the Jenners or Kardashians are invited to award shows. It's one thing if it's fashion related, but it's totally a different thing when they have nothing to do with the related industry they're attending the award show of. And yes, you can come at me saying she's there for Timothee, but I still think she could've passed on the attendance.

Oh, Miley Cyrus the woman that you are. I also loved her dress, but I'm tired of seeing her in the same type of dresses and gowns on every red carpet she attends. She announced her next album the other day, which I'm so excited for. I loved her Endless Summer Vacation and Plastic Hearts, so I can't wait for what she has in store for her listeners in her next album.

Now let's talk about the whole point of the night and that is the awards; Demi Moore's win for the Best Actress was very well-deserved. I was surprised about Kieran Culkin's win. No doubt, he's a great actor, but to top off Jeremy Scott? All I can say is that now I wanna see A Real Pain even more. I watched Anora yesterday, and I liked it so much. Tbh, Yuri Borisov could've won that nomination too, but props to Kieran.

That's it for the Golden Globe from me. These were the things that stayed on Lexie's mind from the night. I'm excited to hear your thoughts and can't wait to comment on the upcoming award nights for you guys.
